Wow... this is the first thing I've actually finished in what... like two months?
I've drawn bits and have them half coloured or inked, but this is the first thing that been completed. Funny that its these two. For those who don't know, on the left you have Spencer Henslowe, and the right Ebony Mystra. They're characters from my FDD series, Digimon: Nexus. They're the main coupling and I really like them as a pair and as solos. They're really contrasting characters and their story (though most of it is in my head, not written down) makes me really happy through its general cuteness. The outfits aren't their default outfits... Spencer's is... well, it kind of is. The shirt is the one he wears in his second outfit in the Nexus series. He has a cyan top on over it usually, so I decided to draw the shirt in full view, cause I really like it for some reason. Ebony's outfit is completely random. But I wanted to put her in something cute. And I've made her hair less confusing. Its not so... crowded around her face now. Much neater. Though she still has this stray strand that dangles down the middle of her face. Tried something different with the eyes and failed, but I like how it came out. The markings on them are thier crest symbols. In Nexus, instead of getting physical crests like in Digimon 01, once they destroy the Digimon guard or hiding said crest, the symbol is emblazoned onto their skin somewhere. As you can see, Spencer's is on the back of his neck, and Ebony's on her left shoulder area. And the title refers to their crests, Spencer's being Valour and Hope being Ebony's. ...I think its cute... >.> Comments
 At first I thought it was Edward and Bella, making me groan, so I'm glad it's not. xD
I think this picture is very cute, too. Their expressions and body shapes are well done, and the coloring is great, too. O: My critique encourages you to continue with your style and maybe try something more advance. (...lawl) -- I didn't die when I read Twilight... ...But that's only because I couldn't make it past chapter six. Who's Edward and Bella? O.o
Thanks. I touched it up a little in PSPX to make the colours stand out and make it a little smoother. So I think that's helped. I quite like my style, but I agree on the branching out thing. Its something I'd like to try, I think I've become quite complaciant in the style I have. Thanks for the comment. :] -- Do you really think I'm the kind of person who has a plan? Seriously, who are they though? -- Do you really think I'm the kind of person who has a plan? They're Mr. Gary and Mrs. Mary Sue of the horrid book, Twilight. That for some reason, every 14 year old girl on the planet is obsessed with.

I love the shading, especially on the skin, you've done that quite well. I'm not sure how you may have 'failed' with the eyes, I think they're lovely... Ebony's seem so soulful... sorta... deep and calm? While, Spencer's seem to glow with energy and happiness... I admit, though, I haven't read the fic where they're from so if that wasn't what you were going for, I'm sorry....
 As for what you might want to work on... I think just basic anatomy (and I suppose that's a big one... but pretty much EVERYONE has troubles with that) Other than that I think this picture's REALLY sweet. ^^ -- I'm Pakak, Part of the Avatar's Traveling Group in the Avatar OC Crew  Ebony looks absolutely adorable in this. <3 <3 The eyebrow placement really adds a lot of emotion to her, even at just a bust-up image. The coloring looks really fantastic too -- I haven't touched my markers in a while and you're making me want to do so now~ hhahaha XD
